International Grand-Prix Jumping Stallion
A model athlete out of a textbook: He impresses all by means of his first-class basic gaits with a ground covering uphill canter, and is uperior at the jump with enormous scope, ideal technique and manner. He was reserve champion in his stallion performance test in Prussendorf.
Monte Bellini produced his masterpiece at the 2007 Bundeschampionat in Warendorf where he won all four tests for young jumpers under Marco Kutscher and became the towering champion in his age group. In 2008, he defended his title among the six year old horses – only the Ramiro daughter Rosella G was also able to duplicate this feat 20 years ago!
In 2011, under Philipp Weishaupt, he competed in international Grand-Prix classes and gained numerous successes against the strongest competition. Especially spectacular was his third place in the ***** advanced (S) level jumping Grand-Prix of Rio de Janeiro, the ninth stage of the Global Champions Tour, which was honoured with a prize-money of 130,000 Euro!
He is just as successful in breeding with already six licensed sons and several state premium mares. According to FN's estimated breeding value statistics he is ranked nationwide with 146 points as jumper sire and a dressage index of 108 points in the top group of sires
His sire Montender was one of the best show jumpers in the world. Under Marco Kutscher he belonged to the German gold team at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens/GRE and, there, won the bronze medal as the best individual result of the German Olympians in the jumping course.
The dam Ramira was herself successful in show jumping up to intermediate (M) class and is exceptional in breeding: Beside Monte Bellini, the 2008’ vice Bundeschampion of five-year old show jumpers Conte Bellini (by Cornet Obolensky) is also her son! The legendary sire Ramiro signs as dam’s sire. He himself was internationally successful in show jumping and sired non-stop world-class horses – at the head of all the unforgotten Ratina Z.
Over Hanoverian top sires like Wendekreis, Wiesenbaum xx and Ferdinand the maternal line leads to the first-class mare line of Javenda who produced, among others, the sires Baryshnikov, Del Piero and the advanced (S) level dressage sires Margue H and Rotary (by Ramiro) and. the internationally successful sport horses Wapiti, Ferro, Fernando, Le Mans in show jumping ,as well as Lesotho and Wansuela Suerte in dressage.
